160615: Life changer

“And so you became a model to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia.” (1 Thessalonians 1:7)

Paul called the early church in Thessalonians the model for all believers for they not only heard the gospel of Jesus Christ but received it with deep conviction as evidenced by the work of the power of the holy spirit in their changed lives. Their changed lives speak for themselves and proclaim the glory of God.

“They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead – Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.” (1 Thessalonians 1:9-10)

The Word of God is a life changer.

160327: He has RISEN !

“He is not here; he has risen!” (Lk24:6)

The women came early the next morning but they found the stone door rolled away and they where wondering because they could not find the body of Jesus. But the angels of the Lord appeared before them and reminded them that Jesus has risen. Just as He has said.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”(1Pet1:3)

We come together today to give our utmost praise and worship to God our Father. For out of God’s mercy and grace, he has given us a renewed life. We have a  living hope that is certain and sure because our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is alive and with us today.
