160307: Here am I. Send me !

“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Eph 2:10)

We are God’s workmanship – a “masterpiece” in Jesus Christ.

The result of our salvation by grace thru faith is the accomplishment of good works which God prepared in advance for us to do.

The question is not if I receive God’s call ? but how will I respond to God’s call ?

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (Isa6:8)

160212: Our labor is not in vain.

“Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (1Cor15:58)

Our walk with the Lord will have its ups and downs. We will face persecution and trials when we share the good news of salvation. But just when we are ready to give up, we find strength in the word of God.

“Go now to your countrymen in exile and speak to them. Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says,’ whether they listen or fail to listen.” (Ezek 3:11)

Keep on sharing the good news.

Christ’s resurrection made available to us God’s glory in heaven.

Let our love for God and each other drive us to do His will.

160114: Indwelt and Infilled to serve each other

“Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. “(Eph 5:21)

Paul points out a solution to unity and harmony.

For the peace of God to be in our family, our church, our government or our nation, there must be mutual submission between the one in authority and the one being governed.

To use our authority to build-up others and to respect the authority God has given others.

The spirit of God in us allow us to be submissive, humbly serving one another with joy and love in our hearts.

“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” (Gal 5:25)

The Holy Spirit indwelling in us also infills us, leading us to minister to one another.
