“After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go.” (Luke 10:1)
Jesus personally selected 72 to go on a mission trip not to far away lands but to neighboring communities and towns that He is about to go to. Their mission is to prepare the place for the coming of Jesus. We need not go far and away for our mission field starts in the place where we live. Let us go and prepare the place for Jesus.
“Whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace be to this house!’ ” (Luke 10:5)
And the peace of Jesus will rest upon the house of those who accepts the good news.
